When your Dusty contract expires, all Dusty-owned equipment must be returned promptly. If equipment is not returned on time, additional fees may apply.
Return Deadline After Contract Expiration
After your contract end date, you have a 5-day grace period to return the Dusty equipment.
Equipment must be shipped (dropped off with FedEx) within this window to avoid additional charges.
Holdover Fees
If Dusty equipment is kept more than 5 days after the contract expires, holdover fees may apply.
Holdover fees are charged because the equipment is considered still in use and unavailable for other deployments.
What Equipment This Applies To
Holdover fees may apply if any Dusty-owned equipment is not returned, including:
Dusty FieldPrinter
Tripod
Laser tracker
If You Need More Time
If you need additional time to return equipment, contact your Dusty point of contact as soon as possible. This may include your:
Implementation Manager
Account Manager
Account Executive
Dusty Support
Dusty may be able to help coordinate a return timeline or discuss contract extension options.
How to Avoid Holdover Fees
To avoid holdover fees:
