Who is affected
Users on iPad app version 2.17 and older.
What you'll see
You open the app on your iPad without a Wi-Fi connection, then reconnect to Wi-Fi later, but a project that was just published from a laptop or desktop doesn't appear in your project list, even after refreshing. The project stays missing no matter how many times you pull to refresh.
Why this happens
When the app launches without a Wi-Fi connection, it loads your last saved project list instead of fetching the latest from the server. Once the iPad is in that offline mode, reconnecting to Wi-Fi does not fully reset the offline setting. The app continues showing the old list until it gets a fresh start.
How to fix it
If a new project is not showing up after you reconnect to Wi-Fi, follow these steps:
- Make sure your iPad is connected to Wi-Fi.
- Force-quit the Dusty app.
- Swipe up from the bottom of the screen and pause
- Swipe the Dusty app card up and off the screen.
- Reopen the Dusty app.
- Your project list will refresh automatically. The new project should now appear.
Important: Reconnect to Wi-Fi before relaunching the app. If you relaunch while still offline, the issue will repeat.
