After stationing, confirm that control points are recorded correctly by checking two things on the iPad: that the reflector icon aligns with a known floor line, and that the reflector icon lands directly on each control point marker. Both checks take under two minutes and catch positioning errors before printing begins.

Step 1: Verify alignment on a floor line

1. Place the reflector directly on any existing line on the floor; a printed trade line or a layout line works.
2. On the iPad, zoom in on the area where the reflector is placed.
3. Confirm that the reflector icon on the screen is positioned in exactly the same location as the reflector on the floor.

If the icon and the physical reflector are in the same spot, the robot's coordinate system is aligned with the floor.

Step 2: Verify alignment on a control point

1. Place the reflector directly on top of a control point; use a control point you recorded during stationing.
2. On the iPad, confirm that the reflector icon is sitting directly on top of that control point's marker on the map.
3. Repeat for at least one additional control point.

If the reflector icon and the control point marker overlap precisely, the control points are recorded correctly.
