If your project is complete or your contract is ending, please follow the steps below to return your Dusty Robotics equipment.
What Needs to Be Returned
Your return shipment should include:
Dusty FieldPrinter
Tripod
Laser tracker
Note: If an EcoFlow portable battery was purchased through Dusty, it is not required to be returned and the customer may keep it.
If you believe any equipment is missing, notify your Dusty point of contact before shipping.
Step 1: Contact Your Dusty Point of Contact
To begin the return process, contact your Dusty point of contact. This may be your:
Implementation Manager
Account Manager
Account Executive
Dusty Support
When reaching out, please include:
Company name
Jobsite name
Return address
Reason for return (project complete, replacement, etc.)
Estimated ship date
Your Dusty contact will confirm next steps and provide shipping instructions.
Step 2: Pack the Equipment Securely
Use the original shipping cases whenever possible.
Packing Guidelines
Secure the equipment in its original foam inserts (if available)
Remove loose items from the unit
Pack accessories and cables securely
Seal cases tightly and use heavy-duty tape if needed
Do not ship equipment in unprotected cardboard boxes unless instructed by Dusty.
Step 3: Apply the Shipping Label
Once your return is approved, your Dusty point of contact will provide:
A FedEx shipping label
Any required return documentation
Print the label and attach it securely to the outside of the case/crate.
Step 4: Drop Off at FedEx
All Dusty equipment returns must be shipped via FedEx unless otherwise agreed with your account team.
Once the equipment is packed and labeled, drop it off at your nearest FedEx Ship Center or authorized FedEx drop-off location.
Be sure to request a drop-off receipt for tracking confirmation.
Step 5: Return Confirmation
Once received, Dusty will inspect the equipment and confirm the return has been completed.
Processing time is typically 3–5 business days after delivery.
Important Notes
Equipment should be returned in good condition and free of excessive debris.
Missing or damaged items may delay return processing.
If equipment is not returned within 5 days after your contract expires, holdover fees may apply.
