Dusty Academy is Dusty Robotics' online training hub. It hosts guided courses, written guides, checklists, and practice tests that take your team from first setup to certified operation of the FieldPrinter, the Dusty Portal, and the Dusty App. This article explains what the Academy covers, who each track is for, and how to get an account.
Who Dusty Academy Is For
The Academy is organized around the roles on a Dusty program, so people can train on only what their job needs:
- FieldPrinter operators — the field crew running the robot day to day.
- VDC and layout teams — the people preparing layout files, control points, and BIM exports in the office.
- Portal and project admins — whoever sets up projects, manages users, and uploads files in the Dusty Portal.
Course Catalog
The Academy is built around role-based courses backed by supporting guides and checklists.

Supporting Resources
Alongside the courses, the Academy includes reference material you can work through at your own pace:
- FieldPrinter Operator Setup and User Guides — step-by-step setup and daily-operation guides.
- Training Checklists and Practice Tests — structured checklists and quizzes to confirm an operator is field-ready and to support certification sign-off.
- VDC Solutions Guides and Reference Materials — workflow guides covering BIM integration, control point setup, and layout file prep.
- Ecosystem Introduction — an overview of how the FieldPrinter, Dusty Portal, and Dusty App fit together. A good starting point for anyone new to Dusty.
